Ewe plans to connect 1 million households with VDSL in 2014

German regional utilities provider Ewe reports a operational EBIT of EUR 497.9 million for 2013, slightly lower than EUR 512.7 million in 2012. Revenues grew from EUR 8.6 billion in 2012 to EUR 8.9 billion in 2013. Ewe offers electricity, water, gas as well as telecom services via its own unbundled DSL network. It did not provide details about the number of telecom customers and revenues. With regards to its plans to continue to roll-out its unbundled VDSL network, Ewe said in its presentation that 3,000 street cabinets were unbundled at the end of 2013, which will grow to around 4,000 during
