Exaring deploys ADVA FSP 3000 for IP entertainment

German digital services provider Exaring has deployed a fully integrated platform for IP entertainment services built on the ADVA FSP 3000. Exaring's national backbone network will transmit on-demand TV and gaming services to 23 million households using ADVA technologies. The network has a 100 Gbps core transport infrastructure and a total fibre length of 12,000 kilometres. The 80 channel fibre optic transport system will be used exclusively for transmitting IP entertainment applications, including Ultra-HD 8K TV.
