Exim Bank of India offers Nigeria USD 100 mln loan for rural internet

The Exim Bank of India has arranged a USD 100 million loan for Nigeria to extend internet services to rural areas, CommunicationsWeek reported. This is the result of close collaboration between the India High Commission in Nigeria and the Federal Ministry of Communications. The loan from India is expected to accelerate the deployment of solar mobile telephone sites in rural areas.
