Expway supports NTT mobile TV service

NTT Data MSE, a subsidiary of ICT services company NTT Data, and mobile broadcast service provider Expway have launched a joint service to power NTT's enhanced Mobile TV service in Japan. The service is being integrated in several Android mobile devices this year. Expway's mobile broadcast middleware manages on the device the catalogue of all live TV events (EPG) and on-demand content (ECG). NOTTV subscribers will have fresh content with no download or buffering time, for a monthly subscription fee. By using Expway's service, operators are able to offload heavy video traffic from their 3G
