Facebook backs Nigerian businesswomen with aim to boost economy by NGN 20 bln by 2022

Social media platform Facebook has begun the 'She Means Business' initiative for entrepreneuses in Nigeria, reports the Guardian. A recent study by Development Economics on behalf of the platform estimated that businesses set up by women in Nigeria over the next five years (by 2022) hold the key to unlocking NGN 19.7 billion for the economy and could create another 8.9 million jobs.
