Facebook launches Messenger app for iPad

Facebook has launched a new Messenger application version specifically designed for iPad, rather than just running as an enlarged iPhone app, reported TechCrunch. Messenger for iPad features a multi-window interface showing a list of threads and the user's current conversation at the same time as well as most current Messenger features, including stickers, group easy group chat navigation, and VoIP calling. However, Messenger for iPad does not offer the latest features of the chat app, including the split-screen selfie camera and tap-and-hold quick video recordings.
