Facebook launches new mobile video player

Monday 7 July 2014 | 22:30 CET | News
Facebook mobile will now feature a new carousel of suggested videos that appears after a consumer views a video in the mobile News Feed, reported TechCrunch. Similar to YouTube's Related Videos, Facebook has confirmed the existence of the new experience in Facebook for iOS that allows consumers to watch a series of videos before returning to the feed. The feature has the potential to encourage users to upload more videos to Facebook as well as offer a new advertising opportunity to integrate sponsored video suggestions.
