Facebook security alerts cleared from robocall ban after Supreme Court ruling

Facebook won a case at the US Supreme Court that its automatic text messages to users cannot be considered illegal robocalls, AP reports. The ruling means legislators may have to reconsider the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, after the Supreme Court found too broad a definition was given to the automated calls and messages banned under the law.
