Facebook teams up with Magisto for messenger platform

Israeli start-up Magisto is launching its Shot app as part of Facebook's new Messenger Platform. Magisto, which has 55 million registered users, allows the production of short video clips based on family photos. 'Shot' advances messaging to the next wave of transformative technology by automatically turning a single photo and a text message into an entertaining video story. The Magisto Shot app is available for iOS and Android. Using Magisto's patented AI technology, EmotionSense, text and photos are automatically analysed to produce a video story with music, motion and professional style
