Facebook to add 200 jobs in Dublin

Facebook announced plans to hire another 200 people at its operations in Dublin, taking the total there to 1,500. All of the roles are expected to be filled by the end of the year, according to an announcement from the Irish Minister for Jobs, Richard Bruton. In addition, Facebook has opened a partner centre in Dublin, the first outside its global headquarters in the US. The site will be used to teach business partners about Facebook's products and services and what may be coming in future. The news follows the company's announcement in January that Clonee, County Meath will be the site for
