Facebook to launch Messenger ride booking with Uber

Facebook announced the development of Transportation on Messenger. The feature will allow users to request a lift from a car service without having to download an extra app or leave a conversation. Facebook is currently testing the service. It will launch to select users in locations where Uber operates in the US. The company said other transportation partners and more countries will be available soon.
