Far EasTone acquires 70% stake in Nextlink for TWD 420 million

Taiwanese operator Far EasTone (FET) has acquired a 70 percent stake in cloud managed service provider Nextlink Technology. Taiwan-based Nextlink is a Premier Consulting Partner for Amazon Web Services (AWS) for the Greater China region, providing cloud managed services and IT services. In a filing with the Taiwan Stock Exchange, FET reports it has paid TWD 420 million (approximately USD 13.66 million) to acquire 3.43 million shares of the privately-held Nextlink, representing 70% percent of Nextlink's shares.
