FAS accuses Beeline, MTS and Megafon of sending spam texts

Russian federal competition watchdog FAS has accused mobile operators Beeline, MTS and Megafon of disseminating SMS advertising without the recipients' prior consent, reports Cnews.ru. The investigation followed complaints from customers in Moscow. The operators face fines of RUB 100,000 to RUB 500,000 for each spam case.
