Fastweb censured for 'What you see = what you pay' campaign

Italy's self-regulatory advertising watchdog IAP has censured Fastweb for claiming in its recent "What you see = What you pay" adverts that its offer had no hidden costs. However, La Repubblica reports that the IAP's jury upheld complaints from rivals Vodafone and Wind Tre that the corresponding adverts denigrated their offer and weren't sufficiently transparent. The campaign included two 30-second TV ads featuring customers complaining about having to pay unexpected hidden costs on top of what they contracted.
