FCC launches data dashboard for broadband subsidy programme after 2.3 mln applicants

A total of 2.3 million US households have signed up for the FCC's new broadband subsidy, under its Emergency Broadband Benefit Program, since its start in mid-May. Over 1000 broadband providers have agreed to take part in the programme, which gives a reduction of USD 50 per month per subscriber for internet services.
