FCC proposes fines against broadcasters for failure to negotiate with AT&T

The FCC has proposed fines of around half a million dollars each against 18 local broadcasters in the US for failure to negotiate in good faith retransmission agreements with AT&T and its DirecTV satellite TV service. The FCC also rejected an appeal from the broadcasters against its Media Bureau's original decision that they violated the Good Faith Order.
