FCC proposes record USD 5 mln robocalling fine under consumer protection act

The Federal Communications Commission proposed a USD 5.134 million fine against John M. Burkman, Jacob Alexander Wohl, and J.M. Burkman & Associates for apparently making 1,141 unlawful robocalls to mobile phones without prior express consent in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.
