FCC rescinds order on 4.9 GHz band, proposes new rules against robocalls, Sim fraud

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has unveiled a number of proposals, on stricter rules for robocalling and Sim fraud, on spectrum questions and for safer communications during disasters, among other matters. The FCC also adopted a baseline set of national security and law enforcement questions for companies with foreign ownership seeking to participate in the US telecom market.
