FCC says providers can now block robocalls by default

Providers of voice services can now take aggressive and pre-emptive measures to prevent robocalls for their customers. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) vote on the matter and said companies can now block robocalls by default before they reach people, as long as the systems are based on reasonable call analytics and that customers are informed and have to opportunity to opt out of blocking.
