Fewer Germans are planning to buy VR goggles this year

Three quarters of people in Germany have at least a vague idea of what the term Virtual Reality means, according to opinion pollsters YouGov. Its study 'Virtual Reality – Trend or Hype?', two thirds of people who know what VR is, would be interesetd in trying it out, or have already done so. Ownership of a VR headset has risen from 8 percent last year to 11 percent this year, but the rate of those intending to get one has dropped from 8 percent to 5 percent,  according to the survey of 2,000 people run from 21 to 26 July.
