Fiam WiFi launches in Lagos

Nigerian ISP Fiam WiFi has launched services in Ajegunle, a suburb of Lagos, after a three-month pilot. The company is focusing on high-density, low-income areas and rural communities to provide affordable connectivity for the mass market. CEO Akin Marinho said the company instals Wi-Fi hotspots and has started with 25 hotspots in Ajegule, with plans to instal another 100 over the next six months.
