Brazilian company Fibracem has launched its new Optical Terminal Box. The product was developed especially to protect the splice where optical fiber pairs are united and for the distribution/termination of optical cables used in aerial or underground networks. The CTO MINI SVM, as it will be called, can house direct or derivative splices, supporting up to 12 optical cables.

The new Fibracem Optical Terminal Box, which has already been cleared by Anatel and approved by the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards (ABNT), reaches the market with a high IP 68 rating. The CTO MINI can be configured for direct splice, point-multipoint (FTTH) applications and derived cables.
