Ficora licenses satellite to monitor forests, farm crops, bacteria in water

The Finnish Communications Regulatory Authority (Ficora) said it has granted a radio licence for the Reaktor Hello World satellite system, which comprises one satellite and an earth station in Helsinki. Licence applicant Reaktor Radio Actives says the satellite has a new type of infrared spectrum camera that enables functions such as monitoring of the condition of forests and agricultural crops, and cyanobacteria in water.
