Finnish govt and Traficom say more infrastructure sharing would support broadband expansion and competition

A report by the Finnish Ministry of Transport and Communications and the Transport and Communications Agency (Traficom) says that leasing of telecommunications infrastructure could be increased between operators. Civil engineering infrastructure could be used more in the construction of communications networks, too. Use of existing infrastructure would reduce the slow excavation and permit processes and promote the construction of broadband in Finland.
