Finnish govt report recommends encryption for electronic communications

The Finnish Ministry of Transport and Communications said a report that it commissioned from the Technical Research Centre of Finland, on the protection and encryption methods for electronic communications, has been completed as a part of the Data Security Strategy. A summary of the methods is included in the report, and future prospects for encryption and protection technology are set out, with definitions of relevant key concepts. The report recommends the use of communication methods that apply end-to-end encryption and protection of data integrity.
