Finnish operators to bring in new mobile identification system in 2020

Finnish operator Elisa said it has reached an agreement with Telia Finland and DNA to develop a new Mobile Certificate that is more versatile than the current authentication service. The new system is due to enter force in 2020 and will use biometric identifiers. It will become the most widely used means of identification in Finland, said Elisa.
