Fire at Huawei factory in southern China leaves three dead

Three people were killed on 25 September when a blaze broke out at a facility owned by Huawei Technologies in southern China, according to the South China Morning Post. The compound in question is situated in the Songshanhu district of Dongguan, Guangdong province. The facility, which is part of a larger manufacturing complex, mainly conducts research into materials as well as testing 4G and 5G antennas, according to a Reuters report.
