FireEye suffers 'state-sponsored' cyber-attack

Cybersecurity specialist FireEye said it has been hit by what it believes is a state-sponsored attack, which used a combination of techniques not yet seen. The company is investigating the matter together with the FBI and other key partners such as Microsoft. FireEye said the attacker was mainly after information related to certain government customers. No customer data seems to have been stolen, it noted.
