FirstBank partners Nigerian post office for mobile banking

First Bank of Nigeria has tied up with the Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST) to provide enhanced access to convenient and reliable financial services to the unbanked and under-banked population through its FirstMonie mobile payment system, CommunicationsWeek reported. The partnership will see FirstMonie serve as the platform for mobile financial services to people in host communities where NIPOST offices and agencies are located.
