Fitbit launches Fitbit Pay platform for public transport in Singapore

Thursday 16 May 2019 | 11:29 CET | News
Fitbit has announced that customers in Singapore using a Fitbit Ionic, Fitbit Versa or Fitbit Charge 3 can now use Fitbit Pay on their device to pay for public transport. The launch is part of the Land Transport Authority's SimplyGo initiative, which allows commuters who are Mastercard card holders to pay for their commute from their wrist without carring a separate transit card, make top-ups upfront or pull out their wallet or phone.
