Fitbit to hire 160-170 more staff at R&D centre in Bucharest

Wearables specialist Fitbit decided to extend the number of employees of its R&D centre in Bucharest to 200 from the existing 30-40 staff, writes local paper Ziarul Financiar citing market sources. The centre was opened following the acquisition of Romanian start-up Vector Watch at the beginning of 2017. The Vector Watch team was integrated into Fitbit's team in Bucharest.
