Fixed broadband connections used by 98% of Maltese households

Approximately 98 percent of all Maltese claim to have access to a fixed broadband connection at their place of residence, up from 94 percent recorded in 2017, according to a survey conducted by Maltese telecom authority MCA in June and July. The remaining 2 percent of respondents claim they did not have a fixed broadband connection as they found the service either too complicated to use or unnecessary. None of the respondents falling in this category consider getting a fixed broadband connection in the next 6 months.
