Florianopolis selects Wifi.fi for public Wi-Fi service

The Brazilian city of Florianopolis has selected the company Wifi.fi, from Joao Pessoa, to implement the Floripa Wi-Fi Livre free internet access service in 178 public areas of the city, including health facilities. The winning bidder will have 12 months to implement the service from October, when it signs the contract. In exchange, it can explore services on the login screen and display advertising with a maximum duration of 7 seconds. Wifi.fi already provides free Wi-Fi to more than 55,000 users in Joao Pessoa and Campina Grande.
