FNB says South African customers spend close to ZAR 500 mln on streaming services

The use of video and music streaming services is rising significantly as South African consumers continue to look for ways to be entertained at a fraction of the usual cost, says a report published by South Africa's First National Bank FNB. The report reveals that last year, customers paid close to ZAR 500 million in subscription and gift card purchases from Netflix, Showmax and Spotify.
