Folch named interim Televisa cable CEO

Thursday 30 November 2017 | 08:56 CET | News
Mexican broadcaster and cable operator Grupo Televisa has announced the appointment of Salvi Folch as the interim CEO of its cable division after his predecessor Adolfo Lagos was shot dead in Mexico City earlier this month. Folch is currently the group's Vice President of Strategic Planning and previously served as the company's Chief Financial Officer. He will take over the Izzi cable unit on a temporary basis after Lagos was killed by a gunshot on 19 November while riding on his bike near the Teotihuacan pyramids on the outskirts of Mexico City.
