Former Movistar Chile CEO may launch MVNO

The former CEO of Movistar Chile, Oliver Flogel, is in talks with investment funds on the possible launch of a new MVNO. However, he has yet to apply for a licence at the Department of Telecommunications (Subtel), reports daily Pulso. Flogel is a founding partner of investment fund Inversur Capital and was general manager of Telefonica Chile (Movistar) in 2003-2010. According to the latest data from Subtel, MVNOs have less than a 1 percent share of the Chile mobile market.
