Forty-four percent of Swedes say socialising online makes them lonelier

Most people in Sweden consider time spent on the internet to be beneficial to their social lives, according to Telenor Sweden, based on a survey it commissioned from pollsters Demoskop. It found that one in four respondents mostly socialises online, adding that doing so bolsters their live friendships, too. Even so, 44 percent said that digital communication makes them feel more lonely.
