Fove secures USD 11 mln in series A funding

Fove, a Japanese start-up specialised in creating eye-tracking VR headsets, secured USD 11 million in Series A funding from investors such as Colopl VR Fund, Hon Hai (Foxconn), and Samsung Venture Investment, writes online publication TechCrunch.com. Fove formed strategic partnerships with it new investors and will use the money to speed up mass manufacturing of its headset. Japanese game publisher Colopl said in a statement that it will develop content for Fove. Fove pushed back the product's launch date to the fall of 2016 from March because of problems with purchasing some of the headset's
