Foxconn to enter semiconductor market in joint venture with Yageo

Hon Hai Technology Group, the contract manufacturer also known as Foxconn, announced plans to enter the semiconductor market, in a joint venture with components maker Yageo. The new venture XSemi will focus on small chips, providing supplies for Foxconn's communications applications and future products, as well as outside customers.
