Foxtel deploys Ooyala technology for Presto

Australia's Foxtel has deployed technology from video streaming and analytics provider Ooyala to support its new Presto subscription movie service. Presto will be available soon on personal computers and iOS devices. An Android service will follow shortly. As part of the Presto deployment, Foxtel shareholder Telstra partnered with Ooyala's Professional Services group to develop a custom publishing workflow and metadata management system for Foxtel, deliver studio-approved digital rights management (DRM) that works across all screens, and to integrate Presto with Telstra's IPTV platform as
