Foxtel to launch IPTV service in August

Australian pay-TV provider Foxtel will launch its IPTV service Play in August. The service will allow a more "a la carte" access to content, The Australian reports citing Foxtel's executive director of television, Brian Walsh. The Play service will not require a lock-in contract and packages will start at AUD 25 per month and allows customers to watch programs from over forty channels on internet connected devices.
