France adds 160,000 FTTH subscribers in Q2

The number of broadband subscribers in France rose by 135,000 in the second quarter to 27.2 million, up 3.6 percent from a year earlier, according to the latest figures from Arcep. Subscribers with 30 Mbps or higher reached 4.8 million, up by 265,000 in the three months and 1.2 million more than a year ago. The vast majority of French were still using DSL at less than 30 Mbps, with 21.9 million subscribers at the end of June.
