France adds 280,000 30+ Mbps subscribers in Q2 - Arcep

France had 3.8 million superfast broadband (30+ Mbps) subscriptions at the end of June, 280,000 more than at the end of April and 1.5 million (63%) more than at the end of June 2014, according to telecom regulator Arcep. Within the total, FttH subscriptions rose by 58 percent to 1.14 million in one year. Subscriptions to access lines providing 100+ Mbps services rose by 150,000 in the second quarter. The number of subscriptions to 30 Mbps-100 Mbps lines increased by 130,000 on the year, bringing the total to 1.69 million. At the end of June 2015, the rate of adoption for superfast broadband
