France adds 355,000 FTTH connections in Q4

FTTH subscribers in mainland France and the overseas territories rose by 355,000 in the three months to December to reach 3.27 million, according to the latest quarterly statistics from telecom regulator Arcep. In the same period, fixed broadband lines with a speed of at least 30 Mbps increased by 475,000 to 6.99 million, including FTTH, hybrid fibre-coaxial, VDSL and LTE-based connections marketed as fixed offers. Of this total, 4.61 million were capable of a speed of at least 100 Mbps.
