France completes digital switchover

Analogue TV broadcasting has come to its end in France, with the Languedoc-Rousillon region being the last switch off analogue signals on the night of 28-29 November. Tele Satellite Numerique reports that transmitters covering 90 percent of the region's population were progressively put back in service transmitting digital terrestrial signals, on the morning of the 29th and the remainder were up and running by the end of the day.
