France helps local representatives tackle mobile white spots

France's secretary of state for digital affairs, Axelle Lemaire, has launched a new online platform to tackle mobile white spots, as part of a government programme named 'France Mobile'. The platform will enable local representatives, such as mayors and council officers, to report mobile white spots that need to be prioritised by mobile network operators. According to Les Echos, the government has committed to intervene when the dialogue between local representatives and operators fails to find a solution for the areas identified as priorities, including financial support to help finance up
