France, Mauritius sign frequency coordination agreement to free up 700 MHz band

The authorities representing France and Mauritius have signed an agreement defining the planned migration of DTT services to the 470-694 MHz band across Mauritius and Reunion, in order to clear spectrum in the 700 MHz band and make it available for mobile broadband use. TV broadcasters need to comply with the plan by 30 June 2019.
