France Telecom-Orange issues EUR 1 billion bond

France Telecom-Orange has closed a 10-year EUR 1 billion bond issue with a 3 percent coupon to take advantage of lower interest rates since the middle of March. The group is continuing to increase the average maturity of its debt while reducing its average cost. The bond issue's book runners were Credit Agricole, Mitsubishi, Royal Bank of Scotland and Societe Generale.
