
France Telecom-Orange has announced the departure of three members of its executive committee and new appointments in an effort to simplify the organisation of its innovation structure and a tightening of the committee. From 1 May, the executive committee will consist of 11 directors plus chairman and CEO Stephane Richard, with the departure of Jean-Philippe Vanot, Jean-Paul Cottet and Xavier Couture.
Vivek Badrinath has been appointed deputy CEO in charge of innovation, technology and customer resources. Thierry Bonhomme has been named senior executive vice president in charge of Orange Business Services, a position previously held by Badrinath. Bonhomme has been senior executive vice president of Orange Labs, networks and carriers division since April 2010.
Beatrice Mandine, a new board member, will be senior executive vice president for communication and brand. She has been deputy director of communications since July 2012. Bruno Mettling will be in charge of the internal communications department. Christine Albanel will take responsibility for corporate social responsibility.
