Fraunhofer Fokus, Huawei and partners present TSN applications at Hannover Trade Fair

German research institute Fraunhofer Fokus along with Huawei and 18 additional partners presented their testing environment Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) + OPC Unified Architecture (OPC UA) at the Hannover Trade Fair. The TSN + OPC UA offers a unified real-time ethernet for manufacturing and controlling applications requiring low latency and precisely reliable communications sequences, said Fraunhofer. The partners will demonstrate the advantages of the TSB + OPC UA at the fair via six different scenarios, including the synchronization of motors or motion controls for plotters. Fraunhofer
